This policy explains how withdrawals (payment cancellations) and refunds work for paid purchases on Semi Process Lab, operated by Quantum Materials Inc. It implements Article 4 of our Terms of Service and applicable consumer-protection law.
1. What you purchase
Paid purchases on the Service are credits — digital content whose provision begins immediately upon payment — sold either as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or as one-time credit packs. The validity period of credits is disclosed on the payment screen before you pay.
2. 14-day withdrawal
- You may withdraw from a paid purchase (cancel the payment) within 14 days of the payment date.
- Unused credits are refunded in full within this period.
- Because provision of credits begins immediately upon payment, withdrawal is restricted for credits you have already used, as permitted by applicable law. This restriction is disclosed on the payment screen at the time of purchase.
3. Refunds after the withdrawal period
- Even after the 14-day period, you may request a refund of unused paid credits through customer support.
- The amount corresponding to credits already used, and any costs permitted by applicable law, are deducted from the refund.
- Free (bonus) credits granted without payment are not refundable.
4. Processing and timelines
- The Company issues refunds within 3 business days of confirming the grounds for the refund.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
- Consumer disputes follow the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards published by the Korea Fair Trade Commission and applicable laws, and users may seek counseling or dispute mediation through the Consumer Counseling Center (dial 1372 in Korea) or the Korea Consumer Agency.
5. International purchases
- International purchases are sold and billed by the international payment provider engaged by the Company (currently Dodo Payments Inc.), acting as Merchant of Record. That provider is identified on the checkout screen and on your receipt.
- Refunds for those purchases are returned to your original payment method through that provider. Contact our customer support (below) and we will handle the request under this policy.
- Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.
6. How to request a refund
